The main venue of the event is the 3* Hotel Central, located 50 metres from the beach, on the seafront in Mamaia.
This is where registration takes place, and where most participants are accommodated.
"Fiesta del Mar", the hotel's terrace-restaurant by the pool with 100 sqm of wooden floor built especially for this occasion, will be the host of the three milongas.
It is also an official partner of "Tango del Mar", offering event participants a 10% voucher discount on all meals served on location.
Mamaia is a holiday resort adjoint to Constanta, where we will be enjoying plenty of sun, wide sandy beaches, the sea and freshwater swimming pools, restaurants, terraces, parks and an aqua park.
Constanta is located on the Black Sea coast, 220 km east from the capital, Bucharest, and is reachable by direct flights to Constanta Airport (Kogalniceanu) from Pisa, Bruxelles, Nuremberg, or Istanbul. More details on low cost flights on
www.mk-airport.ro/indexen.php . Alternatively, there are low cost flights from all over Europe to Bucharest Baneasa or Otopeni airports. Transfer can be made easily and by various means between Bucharest and Constanta.
While being the best known Romanian city on the coast of the Black Sea, with its rococo casino and its sandy beaches, Constanta is also one of the most beautiful and popular holiday destinations throughout the year, but especially in the summertime. The second city of the country after its capital Bucharest (Bucuresti), it is also a cradle of history, its first traces going back to 2500 years ago.
It is within this framework that Tango Magico, the Argentine Tango school of Constanta, organizes "TANGO DEL MAR - Encuentro de abrazos", wishing to show everyone a wonderful time on the Black Sea coast, and spend an unforgettable weekend in a relaxed atmosphere of tango workshops and milongas, blending tango study and holiday fun during three magical days and nights of high-quality close-embrace dancing.
An encounter not to be missed!
